Las Sobras de Los Que Nos Dejaron is an installation composed of 18 painting studies made out of leftover sections from bigger pieces. Here Gutiérrez uses a combination of printing techniques to achieve a different effect on each printed image. The title of this installation references the colonial and imperialist practice of looting natural resources from Latin America.
